In the framework of the Manufacturing SME Energy Cost and Investment Support Program
2022 application, companies whose energy costs in the 2021 financial year reached two
percent of their sales can receive support. The two percent also includes the accounted fuel
costs. However, the subsidy can only be requested for the surplus related to electricity and gas
consumption and only for the last three months: October, November and December! When
determining the surplus, the base months are the last three months of 2021, and the relevant
year is the last three months of 2022. Excess consumption is determined monthly, and the cost
paid is authoritative, 50% of which is subsidized.
